The sequence shouldn't pose a disparity between which type of riding is better. Riding is riding. I know this because during the off-season, my friends and I take our road bikes out and train for the annual STP (Seattle to Portland) bike ride. It may not be much of an adrenaline rush as Dave sending it over the Tour de France, but what's most important is that we have fun with what we do and simply enjoy the ride, no matter what discipline it is.

They say a picture says a thousand words. In this case, there is no need for the "sickest comment" - the sequence speaks for itself.

It's awesome how the crew literally camps out in the middle of that lush forest to film - shows me the dedication and commitment to getting the perfect shot.

With more bikes coming out in carbon fiber frames, could it possibly be the next standard of mountain biking? It went from steel frames to aluminum - possibly aluminum to carbon fiber in the future? Such a nice bike though!

One of the most epic days of my life. Not only do we have our own lift-access bike park, but the FIRST one in Washington! I love Seattle! Now the difficult part: what places to ride on the weekends: I-5 Colonnade? Duthie Hill? Local trails? Stevens Pass? Hmmmm... =D

This past weekend at Stevens was so dope! It was muddy and slick, but fun nonetheless! Wish the conditions were like the way they are in this video!

It's so awesome to see more and more "independent" MTB films that capture the riding of the locals. Don't get me wrong, it's always great to see the pros send it off huge jumps and gaps, but I enjoy watching these independent films even more because it captures the essence of mountain biking outside of the professionals' realm.
